Iran film event gets submission Tsunami

Over 1000 short films have been received by the 35th edition of Tehran Short Film Festival.

The event has been welcomed by international filmmakers from around the world with more than 1000 films registered for the international section of the festival.

Mohammad Fahimi, the International Affairs manager of the Iranian Youth Cinema Society told local media that the festival received 1162 films from 86 countries.

Organized by IYCS, affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and a member of International Short Film Conference, the festival aims to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.

The 35th edition of Tehran Short Film Festival is slated for November 9-13, 2018 in Tehran.
